Hey! :3

This is my very, very simple entry for Ludum Dare 55. I wanted to try and create something based around the idea of tower defense since the theme was "Summoning". The code for this kicked my ass a tiny bit, but I had so much fun doing it and I think I learnt a lot. This is my second time participating in a jam and I honestly love the experience.

In retrospect - there's a lot of cooler things I could have done here, but I'll continue developing this prototype and see where it goes. The full idea was to have different types of summons available, and a balancing factor involving creativity. Creativity is the essense of what you need to summon - to doodle creatures into existence! 

Another neat spin would be to reverse this - have you summoning monsters to destroy the crystal instead. Lots of possibilities!

I genuinely enjoyed playing this and did several rounds to win it with zero damage to my crystal! The mechanics felt satisfying, I only wish it lasted longer :)
I would love to play the updated version too if you decide to continue working on this project.  Good luck on your journey!
